Pat comprehension test

Here is a snapshot of my Term 4 results for the PAT comprehension test. I score 22 points out of 35. I am pleased with my result.

We are learning how to add description to our writing by including ideas from our senses and creating Show not Tell sentences.

The Skittles were shaking in the bag. The air smelled nice and fruity and it made my mouth water. The water was as warm as if it had come out of a hot water bottle.  I put a Skittle in my mouth. Yum! Yum! Yum!

We are learning how to add description to our writing by including ideas from our senses and creating Show not Tell sentences. We made popcorn in class and got to hear, smell, touch, see and taste it.

The popcorn was popping in the bag, Pop! Pop! Pop! The air was nice and buttery and it made my mouth water. The bag was boiling as if it was lava getting ready to explode. Hot! Hot! Hot! I put it in my mouth Yum! Yum! Yum!

5 senses Week 6 Term 3

KIA Ora today we are doing a 5 senses writing but we only had to do three mine were hearing, Touch and sight hope you like it please check out my friends blog there names are T.A, Toby Cyrus, Rico and Max.

The Ice Devil's Driveway

The air felt like an ice devil was here. Dead trees went all the way down the driveway into the bush. Screeches of pain came from the distance.The black branches rattled.

Building up to the Science Fair!

This term we all had to get in to a group of 4 or 5 and decide what to do for a Science Project. There was tons of ideas to do, but it had to mach up to Up, Up and Away.  Some are like, bottle car, lightning in a jar etc. My group (Toby, Max, Cyrus and me ) are making a coke rocket.  Our equipment as you can see, is Mentos and Diet Coke. I hope it will work I will let you no tomorrow.
