Report Week 4 Term 2

This is an activity we did when we were learning how to put metaphors and similes into our work. Similes are another way to get more points in sentences structure. A similes is were you use, as, like and than.

Matauri Bay

Snoring. Headache. What a bad day! It was the 2nd of January. Mun ran into Royston’s, Nakita’s and my room as fast as a panther. “Get into the car, we are going to pick up Max Penney!” Mum yelled.

“We’re here!” Mum said, beeping her horn to say good morning.  I knocked on Max’s door  like I was a pigeon pecking on wood. Max got his stuff and ran to the car.

Naaaaa! The annoying motor was a rude kid as we pulled into our driveway.Then we went and got the crusty caravan and shot out to Matauri Bay. After Max, Royston and I had set up our tent, we had to help set up the caravan. When we finish we ran to the beach. We dived in. We were penguins. We had so much fun it was unreal.

I created this video on a slide and I made the bricks on the side with squares and the road. I got the rain, the person and the umbrella off the internet and then put them all together.

This is an activity where I had to compare and contrast two animals. Mine were a cat and dog.

Pet cats and pet dogs are very common household pets.  Pet cats and Pet dogs have many similarities and differences.

One difference is that pet cats normally live inside on a cosy bed and pet dogs normally have to live outside in a kennel.

Pet cats and pet dogs both have a tail, teeth and claws. Pet cats meows and they are part of the feline family.Pet dogs bark and they are part of the canine family.

Pet cats and pet dogs are both carnivores. Pet cats can go out and hunt and eat small animals by themselves, but pet dogs are only allowed to go hunting when humans take them on a hunting trip.

Pet cats and pet dogs have many similarities and differences and that’s why they make good pets.

Double Bubble Map week 2 Term2

Walt: We have been learning how to compare two different animals by using a Double Bubble map.

Next time I think I could improve by finding harder facts on my animals.
