This is an activity we did when we were learning how to sort out if it was a myth or a legend. Our theme this term is Learn From a Myth, Become a Legend.
Something I think I have done well is do it myself, but
next time I think I could improve by writing more detail.

Brave teen who wanted to be a knight

John Lambton was fishing when he caught the lambton worn. He always wanted to be a knight and joins the knights and forgets about that the lambton worm was still in the well. It had grown fatter and grew and grew and grew to an awful size. It ate kids, sheep, calves and cows until he could not eat no more and wrapped around ten times around Penshaw Hill then Sir John and caught the beast and cut in half and save the kids, sheep, calves and cows from being eaten from the lambton worm.
